Easy Daily Meditation for Beginners

Daily Meditation for business?

Yes! Absolutely. Daily meditation is a great way to help with focus, and De-cluttering your brain.  You don’t have to be a Tibetan monk or devout spiritualist to get the benefits of meditation.  By using sights, sounds, and smells, you can in fact program a specific response from your brain. So, how does that apply to you? Well, as I have discussed in my Mindset post, getting your mind right is a huge key to your success. In addition, you have daily goals right? If not, might want to brush up on goal setting I posted here.

Through meditation, you can zero in on what is important, and flush out all the other noise. You will end up less stressed, and more in control of your thoughts. However, if you are like me, I thought you had to be some kind of yoga instructor or Buddhist monk to figure out how to meditate. Turns out, it’s not the case at all. In fact, meditation doesn’t have to be “spiritual” at all.  It’s all about getting your mind right.

Daily Meditation in the modern age.

So, for the purpose of meditation, I have looked at a number of different items on the internet to help. After all, I have a very busy life, and live in the 4th largest city in the US. Who can “get away from it all” every day? So, in my search, I came across a few products that bring the sights and sounds to you.

The first thing I came across is a meditation kit by MindSpace. This system is has 50 pre-programmed sessions. Each with a different purpose depending on what you need. In addition, it gives you the ability to customize it. You can add others. It uses lights in the glasses and sounds to create an effect to bring you relaxation and focus by removing any outside distractions. If you use this in conjunction with Aroma Therapy, you can quite literally immerse yourself wherever you happen to be.

Daily Meditation and when you should do it.

I recommend, (as well as many experts) first thing in the morning. This is the time you set your day in motion. It should be paramount to squeeze the most efficiency you can to get the most out of each and every day. You don’t have to take an hour. However, I do recommend at least 30 minutes.

Another perfect time is right before bed. Prepare you mind for rest. Sleep is massively important when getting started. If you are only getting 3 to 4 hours of sleep because you are a grinding machine, then you want to make those few hours as deep and relaxing as possible.

Trying to do this by my own willpower takes a lot of practice. Getting help from the products I recommended above, definitely helps remove that handicap. Who doesn’t like less stress, lower blood pressure, and a focused mind? Remember, the masses think it’s silly, but you are reaching for something more. You have to become the person that attracts the things you are after. No matter what that is.
